Description

(Talent Deployment, Training, Growth & Organizational Health) Coordinate Membership Classes for New Joiners Organize and oversee all sessions for new members to understand the vision, values, culture, and structure of The Nest Church. Church Workers Training and Onboarding Host regular training for church workers, both new and existing, to ensure excellence, spiritual maturity, and operational effectiveness. Monitor Volunteer Performance and Well-being Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations to ensure volunteers are functioning well, spiritually fit, and not burning out. Organize Leadership Development Programs Plan and execute leadership conferences, mentorship sessions, and workshops to raise capable hands for future leadership. Coordinate Departmental Trainings Work with departmental heads to organize internal trainings that enhance team effectiveness and clarity of responsibilities. Talent Discovery and Strategic Deployment Identify gifts and skills in members (e.g., designers, accountants, creatives, speakers) and place them in departments where they will thrive. Ensure Compliance with Church Guidelines Make sure all departments and units adhere to The Nest Church’s operational standards, code of conduct, and spiritual protocols. Welfare Oversight for Volunteers Personally check on volunteers who seem exhausted, discouraged, or disconnected, and connect them with support systems or breaks where needed. Host “Talent Discovery” Events Organize occasional in-house expos or discovery programs to showcase and catalog the human resources present within the church. Performance Tracking and Reviews Track volunteer commitment and performance, and give feedback to unit heads for promotions, rotations, or realignments. Conflict Resolution Support Provide mediation and counsel in cases of interpersonal conflicts within teams or departments, ensuring peace and restoration. Create Volunteer Job Descriptions Draft and update clear job roles for each volunteer position across departments, so everyone knows their responsibilities. Database of All Active Church Workers Maintain an organized and updated record of all workers, their departments, attendance, trainings attended, and skills. Organize Yearly Workers Appreciation Events Work with the welfare department to Celebrate volunteers and team leads annually to boost morale and honour their sacrifices (like a “Nest Stars Awards Night”). Train Team Leads in People Management Equip departmental heads with leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence tools for better people stewardship.
