Description

(New Believer Integration, Member Retention & Pastoral Follow-Up) First-Timer Welcome Ministry Warmly receive, engage, and appreciate first-time worshippers, creating a memorable and loving first impression of The Nest Church (Romans 15:7). Membership Onboarding Coordination Guide first-timers to the HR/Integration Department for registration, Membership Class, and onboarding into a service unit or cell. First-Time Follow-Up Calls & SMS Contact all first-timers within 24 hours of their visit. Place two additional calls during the week and send a friendly reminder before the next Sunday service. Residence Visitation of Members Organize structured house visits to members (especially new converts or first-timers) to build rapport, offer prayer, and gather valuable pastoral data. Scheduled First-Timer Visitations Personally follow up with in-person visits to first-timers who indicated “Yes” to being visited in their response form. Monitor & Follow Up on Absentees In partnership with the Data Department, identify members who have missed two or more consecutive Sundays and initiate care follow-up through calls or visits. Discipleship Tracking for New Converts Work with the E-Cruise and Prayer Units to ensure every new convert is tracked, discipled, and introduced to a small group or spiritual mentor. Feedback Collection & Needs Reporting Document feedback from follow-up calls and visits, reporting welfare needs, prayer requests, or red flags to the relevant departments (Welfare, Prayer, HR). Follow-Up Prayer Support Pray regularly over the names of new members and absentees; organize monthly prayer nights to intercede for retention and spiritual growth. In-Church Check-Up Actively search for returning first-timers on Sundays and ensure they’re greeted, seated well, and connected back with a friendly face. Retention Metrics & Reporting Track first-timer return rates, member reactivation numbers, and total successful integrations, providing monthly reports to church leadership. Collaboration with Other Departments Work closely with The Potters (Ushers), HR, E-Cruise, and Welfare teams to create a seamless follow-up and integration flow. Training of Follow-Up Agents Conduct regular training for The Ark members on follow-up etiquette, emotional intelligence, basic counselling, and spiritual care. Establish Love Groups (Micro Clusters) Develop micro-communities or care circles within The Nest where new members can be nurtured in fellowship and grow consistently.
