Sanctuary Setup & Seating Arrangement Oversee the physical preparation of the worship space — including arranging chairs, setting up ministerial sections, and ensuring cleanliness and excellence in presentation (1 Corinthians 14:40). Ministerial Protocol & Coordination Ensure all guest and resident ministers are well-seated, honoured, and coordinated respectfully before, during, and after the service. Congregational Ushering Welcome and guide worshippers to their seats with warmth and grace, ensuring a smooth entry and minimizing service disruption. Hospitality & Atmosphere Building Create a friendly, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting environment through smiles, greetings, and a spirit of servanthood (Romans 12:13). Facility Guidance & Direction Assist worshippers by providing directions to restrooms, children’s church, and other facilities within the church premises. Service Flow Monitoring Maintain order during the service — from managing late entries, offerings, communion, altar calls, to ensuring minimal distractions throughout. Emergency Response & Security Support Remain alert and prepared to respond appropriately to emergencies — medical, safety, or spiritual — ensuring the safety and comfort of all attendees. Information Dissemination Distribute church materials such as bulletins, flyers, and welcome packages as needed, and respond to general inquiries with clarity and joy. Attendance & Crowd Management Monitor attendance, coordinate seating efficiently during overflow situations, and help regulate crowd movement to avoid congestion. Prayer & Spiritual Preparedness Engage in pre-service prayers and spiritual briefings, recognizing that their service is not just physical but priestly — they shape encounters.
